Great Neck School has embraced our district-wide focus on literacy by challenging the school community to read 111,111 books. This challenge is being organized by our Student Council. Weekly numbers will be posted in the main hallway. As of November 28th, we have read 2,496 books.

   Each of our homerooms as well as various groups of special area staff and teachers are working with Waterford Youth Service Bureau to help provide gifts and holiday dinners to those in our community who are in need of assistance.
