The student will understand that:

Spanish - speaking cultures have different words for parts of the house

There are many cognates for rooms of the house and furnishings

3.

Houses in Spanish–speaking cultures differ in terms of floor plan and the materials used to make them

Answer questions about their houses. (i.e. How many bathrooms in their house?, How               many bedrooms in their house? Do they have a television in their bedroom? Etc…)

Much of the assessment of a student’s work is in the application of knowledge demonstrated through games, songs, and group or individual activities
