Rodents are very friendly and social.  Thus, they want to play and come out of their cages a lot. 

Rodents are small fury creatures that are often rats or hamsters.  They are often kept as pets.  They are nocturnal so they sleep during the day and are awake at night.  Their teeth are always growing, so thus they chew on things a lot so they keep their teeth in shape.  

Rodents also like to sit in small nooks or spaces where they can feel safe. 

Their houses should be composed of many of these small areas and they should have lots of tubes.

They eat lots of nuts and things found in the wild.  They like sunflower seeds.  

 

Rodents have a lifespan of about 3 years. 

They are very active and like to run around in open spaces.
