The Capital One Bowl was Michigan’s head coach, Lloyd Carr’s, last game. This was also quarterback Chad Henne’s last game. Chad Henne ended up passing for 373 yards and 3 TD’s.  Mike Hart, the senior running back ran for 129 yards and two touchdowns. The Michigan Wolverines upset no. 9 Florida (41-35). This was Michigan’s first bowl win since 2003.
