The Great Neck Garden is taking shape thanks to a few very hard working volunteers. We are still looking for assistance building the fence needed to protect the garden from those beautiful deer! There are many activities planned for the remainder of the school year. Students and staff are participating in a reading challenge - 5000 books by May 20th! Students and staff will be "Jumping for a Healthy Heart" after school on May 6th and joining in the annual Maypole Dance this Friday, April 26th. All Grade 3 students will be taking part in Biography Night next week. Each student has researched a famous person in history and will take on the role of that person as they explain to guests all that they have learned about this person. After school classes are continuing with students joining in drama lessons, sign language and a chess club. Great Neck School Has Kids Who Smile! |
