Waterford High School includes 810 students in grades 9-12. Students are offered a rigorous and relevant academic experience. The core academic areas are English, mathematics, science and social studies. Juniors and seniors may choose to select Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Students attend school for 182 days and a minimum of 1,007 hours of instructional time.


Waterford High School offers a variety of co-curricular activities for its students including 26 athletic programs for boys and girls, a variety of band, orchestra, chorus and drama programs, and 22 different clubs, including student government opportunities.

  • Attention Freshmen and Sophomore Parents! You are invited to a Parent Night on Thursday, October 2nd, beginning at 6:30pm in the Waterford High School library. Hosted by Mrs. Leah O’Connor, school counselor, the presentation will cover the role of the school counselor, graduation requirements, academic expectations, as well as provide overviews of academic supports and expectations, special learning opportunities at WHS (e.g. AP, ECE, etc.), the role of Naviance – and more! We look forward to seeing you on October 2nd.
